Up for your enjoyment is a lovely McCoy (maybe Hull) bud vase in a lovely green shade. This vase has two handles at the bottom, and is marked U.S.A. on the bottom (See picture #2). It's just a lovely piece of vintage pottery I found here at an estate sale. Because it is so old, it is not perfect. It does seem to be thin in the paint in one small spot on the rim. It feels like there is a glaze pop on the base. And there is a small nick along the rim at the top. All of these imperfections are under the glaze, and I believe came from the kiln that way. None of them are visable to my camera lens, believe me I tried to get decent pictures of them, it just wouldn't work. They in no way detract from the displaying of this piece. The white spots you see in my pictures are glare from the camera flash. This is because of the heavy glaze on this piece. All in all, for something this old, it's in great condition. I mention these things and have tried to present them in my pictures for clarification purposes. This bud vase measure approximately 5 1/2 inches tall (see picture #3), the opening is 2 1/2 inches x 1 3/4 inches (see picture #4). Nice little show piece. This vase would hold 1 or 2 nice roses. I have more pictues, just e-mail me. I will be happy to e-mail them to you.
Now for the boring stuff. If you have any questions or concerns about this piece, please e-mail me before bidding. I ship Priority Mail Flat Rate. We don't have a local Fed Ex office here, so I'm kinda stuck with our local post office. The reson for Priority Mail is that I insist on a tracking number for this piece. This is for both of our peace of minds. I always have shipping priced at $15.00, but it's usually less than that. A good deal of this depends on the cost of insurance. I STRONGLY ADVISE INSURANCE. While I will do my best to bubble wrap this piece and make sure it is securly packaged, I cannot be responsible for some shipping clerks mis-handling of a package once it's out of my sight. If you are the winning bidder, I will contact you to see if you want insurance. I will run right down to our local post office and get a final shipping figure for you. SO, DON'T PAY UNTIL YOU RECEIVE A FINAL SHIPPING AMOUNT FROM ME. Once I have provided you with a complete invoice, you may pay me at my PayPal account. Shipment will be made on the first business day after payment has cleared my PayPal account. I will e-mail you with your tracking number as well. U.S. Shipments only due to the fragility of this item. Once again, any questions should be asked before bidding.
Payment should be made to my PayPal account - firstname.lastname@example.org All payments are expected within five business days, any payments not received with in 10 business days will mean the customer has forfeited any claim on the item. The item will be placed back up for bid after 15 days of non-payment. Sorry, PayPal payments only. This just helps me keep track of my income and expenses. PayPal does take credit and debit cards now, so this shouldn't be a problem. Once again, any questions, e-mail me. I check my e-mail at least twice a day. I will get back in touch with you, I promise.
