They are the hook type of earrings. There is a little silver bead above the loops that hold the Smiley Face Charm. The Smileys are 1/2" in diameter! And they are really SUPER sparkly! Wish I could have gotten my camera to cooperate & stop making shadows on these great earrings. These photos just don't come close to the cute, sparkliness of these earrings! Brand NEW, NEVER worn!
