Real Time Bidding
When a bid is placed in the last 90 seconds of a Classic Auction, the scheduled ending time is extended to 90 seconds to allow for an answering bid. This will continue until a bid remains unanswered within the 90 second extension period. This allows the seller to get the best price for an item, and the most determined bidder to win the auction - as in any real live auction.

You Control Your Business
With no listing fees or commissions, you can contact your buyers directly: Make your own deals with your buyers, offer different sizes or colors within the same auction, accept offers and end auctions when you want. We won't mind because we aren't trying to grab any of your sale price (commission). It's your business and the choices are yours. OLA is here to help facilitate your business, not control it, or own a piece of it. You will control how an item is paid for, how an item is shipped and any costs associated with shipping, so long as those cost are stated within the shipping cost section of your listing before bidding occurs. Everyone will have the same search abilities pertaining to their items. Creating a fair and equal system is what OLA is all about.

Feedback is a Two-Way Street
At OLA, we know that feedback gives both the seller and buyer valuable information. Feedback may be edited and/or locked. We know that some negative feedback is a mistake or unjust and our members will always be able to negotiate a better feedback or have a review done to determine if a feedback was wrongfully given. We will make as fair a determination as possible and reserve the right to delete negative feedback.

O-Mail
We offer a private, in-house messaging system that allows you to contact other members or buyers without having to share your e-mail address. This offers protection from spammers; it's private and secure.

How Much Does It Cost and What's Included?
A Founding Member pays only $196.00 for the first year and $96.00 a year thereafter. For that initial fee, the member gets not only the Founding Membership, but a free MY OLA House (e-store) for life, (a $120.00 per year value), listing enhancements valued at $200 (additional photos, Featured Auctions, End-It-Early), a $200 Bonus Software Package, a Buying and Selling Online CD, and a guarantee that their Founding Membership fee will remain the same for life. This package is currently valued at more than $700.00 - plus additional years of your free OLA house. Ten years at $120.00 equals $1,200.00 at no cost. this is a huge savings!
